where we are
Formerly an engineering plant for the production of mining machinery, Leopard Recycling’s warehouse sits on an industrial park in Sherburn-in-Elmet, near Leeds and forms part of an historic site occupied by a Royal Air Force station during the Second World War. From 1940 Blackburn Aircraft used a Ministry of Aircraft Production factory on the site, which sits alongside the air strip, to build approximately 1,700 of the famous Fairey Swordfish naval torpedo aircraft.
With substantial warehouse space and additional outside storage to allow for continued expansion, we plan to make a significant contribution both to the local economy and the recycling industry generally.
